About Us


Sandra Bernard came to Australia 7 years ago, leaving behind her native Lausanne, a small city by the lake Geneva in Switzerland. Married to a French man, 2 children born here in Australia, she has maintained her strong link with France and Switzerland, its traditions, languages and culture (especially cheese and chocolate!!). She has a passion for food since her young age and love eating food from all around the world but the French cuisine, with sometimes a touch of the Swiss Alps, is the main one you will find in her family home.

When she came here in Australia, she worked as a chef in a French cafe. Everyday, her passion for food grew bigger and she wanted to share her excitement in the art of French cooking. Sandra takes pride in ensuring student’s cooking experience is ‘a hands on experience’, this allows students to replicate the dishes at home.
